Temporary *Covid-19 safety plan

Dear guests,

The current situation with regard to the corona virus has necessitated certain restrictions and adaptations in our Hotels. Our staff are trained in the latest hygiene measures. We fully comply with the principles of the BAG/FOPH “protecting ourselves”.

With reference to the decisions of the Swiss - & Bernese cantonal - government, strict cantonal and Switzerland-wide restrictions to contain the Corona virus will apply from Monday, 20th December 2021. Please note that access to the hotel can only be granted to persons with a valid Covid certificate 2G (vaccinated, recovered) and masks are mandatory in indoor areas of buildings.

+ access to the hotel & terraces is only granted to persons with a valid Covid certificate 2G (vaccinated, recovered).
+ Masks compulsory from age 12: in all areas of the hotel Front & Back of the house for hotel employees and guests. Face shields are not a mask substitute and are not permitted according to the FOPH
  - we ask you to understand that at the moment we cannot receive guests with exemptions from the mandatory mask requirement!
+ Exception: during eating a meal or drinking.
+ Other indoor sports activities are permitted if a face mask is worn.
+ No standing consumption of drinks or food.

+ Hand disinfectant is available at the entrances to the hotel and at other neuralgic points in the hotel.
+ Public areas are intensively cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis.

Wellness (Sauna & Pool Area)
+ In the wellness sector, 2G+ applies
  - PCR test (not older than 72h) or antigen rapid test (not older than 24h)
+ Exception if access is restricted to 2G+: Do you have a Covid 19 vaccination or convalescent certificate (infection confirmed with a positive PCR test) that is less than 120 days old? Then you do not need an additional certificate for a negative test result. Do you have a Covid certificate for a positive antibody test? Then you always need to show an additional certificate for a negative test result.

If you have flu symptoms, a cough or fever immediately before your arrival, we regret that we cannot welcome you. If you have already paid a deposit, you will receive a voucher for the amount of your booking.

The most important questions and answers:

+ Vaccinated? What conditions must be met?
- The vaccine is licensed in Switzerland.
- The vaccination must be complete. This means that it must include the number of vaccine doses according to the recommendations of the FOPH.

+ Recovered? What conditions must be fulfilled?
- You can receive a Covid certificate if the Covid disease was confirmed by a positive PCR test and did not occur more than 365 days ago.
- The validity starts from the 11th day after the positive test result and lasts for 365 days from the test result. You can apply for the Covid certificate in the canton using an online form. The certificate will then be sent to you in paper form by post.

Entry to Switzerland

When entering Switzerland, you must present a negative test result. PCR test (not older than 72h) or antigen rapid test (not older than 24h). The test costs must be borne by you. In any case, please fill out the entry form:
