Healthy, fine & close to nature

The ERMITAGE-Stuben proudly serve honest, local Mediterranean cuisine. Our first-class fish is regionally sourced from Saanen, e.g. from the Hausmolkerei Schönried dairy or the «Buure Metzg» village butcher. Salmon is sourced from Graubünden while our zander comes from Frutigen. All pasta products are carefully homemade with attention to detail.

Fresh, regional and seasonal ingredients are very important to us. All meals are served to you with our special flair for the Mediterranean. Our menu is designed to be all-natural and healthy to reflect the wellness you’ll experience at our hotel.

  • Laurenz-Stube

The «Laurenz-Stube» harmoniously combines modernity and tradition of the Saanenland. It is named after Laurenz Schmid, founder of the ERMITAGE Wellness- & Spa-Hotel.

  • Lutz-Stube

In the elegant, harmoniously designed «Lutz-Stube» hang the works of Mrs. Lutz-Keppler. She is the mother of the ERMITAGE founder, Heiner Lutz.

  • Kranich-Stube

The motto of this red and white parlor is the heraldic animal of the municipality of Saanen, the crane. Dogs are also welcome in this small, fine parlor.

  • Orangerie

«Orangerie» is a winter garden with a lot of wood. This room creates a very special atmosphere with a water wall.

  • Saane-Stube

Large-format, genuine silhouettes by Beatrice Straubhaar from Lauenen, antique wooden tables and fine linen: the «Saane-Stube» is a typical parlor still found in many old Saanenland houses.

  • Chuchichäschtli

Our guests have known and loved the rustic charm of the «Chuchichäschtli» for more than 20 years. With its tiled stove, wooden tables and linen, this parlor is as popular as ever.

  • Füürgruebe

The interior of the «Füürgruebe» is casual and Swiss alpine: lots of wood, light leather and cowhide as well as an open fireplace characterize the cozy room. Almost like in the traditional alpine huts of the Bernese Oberland, where the fire blazes in the Füürgruebe on which the famous alpine cheese is made.

  • Sonnenterrasse

This is the place to live! Our «sun terrace» on the sunny plateau Gstaad-Schönried. The view into the Saanenland, is one of the most beautiful there is in the Saanenland.
