From 25 to 31 August 2024, master classes will be held daily in our inviting "Salon Festival" at ERMITAGE. Under the overall direction of Maurice Steger, you will have the opportunity to experience artists such as Dorothee Oberlinger and Christoph Dangel up close. Together with the talented musicians of the La Cetra Baroque Orchestra Basel, they will offer you a unique experience. As a valued guest, admission to these exclusive masterclasses is of course included in your stay. Immerse yourself in the world of music and be inspired by respected musical personalities who are happy to share their extensive knowledge.
Classes are held daily from morning to evening and are open to the public in the morning from approximately 11am to 1.30pm and in the afternoon from approximately 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

His stirring performances and his ability to inspire outstanding artists to give their best are always impressive for our guests. It is not uncommon for guests to pause before starting their hikes and listen to the sounds of the baroque flute with shining eyes. The Gstaad Academy is the umbrella organisation of the Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy. All master classes for young professional musicians and amateur orchestra courses for young people and adults are brought together here. For professional course participants, we offer tailor-made master classes combined with prominent performance opportunities and the unique platform of a leading international music festival. In addition to the master classes, we present top-class concerts every day. But young and ambitious amateurs as well as experienced musicians of all ages can also enjoy a comprehensive musical experience with us, ranging from the shared joy of making music to new listening and playing experiences and spectacular concert evenings.
